How to Combine Existing Players into a TeamMerge individual registrations into one team roster

In this guide: Merge individual tournament players into one team in Fluid. Remove duplicate teams, add partners to teams, or recreate a team when a player does not appear in search.

If you've manually entered players individually and want them to appear as a team, use the steps below from your tournament bracket's team list.

Step 1 — Remove One of the Existing Players

  1. Click Team Options (three-line menu) next to one of the teams.
  2. Select Remove Team.

Removing one team leaves a single team record you can build on in the next step.

Step 2 — Add the Remaining Team Members

  1. Click on the existing team that remains.
  2. Select Add Partner.
  3. Search for and select the additional team member(s).

The players you add are now grouped under one team.

If a Team Member Can't Be Found

If a team member doesn't appear in the search results:

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Click Add Team.
  3. Search for and select all members who should be part of the team.
  4. Save the team.

This creates a fresh team with every member selected together, which can resolve search or sync issues after individual entries were added separately.

How do I combine two individually entered players into one team?

Open Team Options (three-line menu) next to one of the teams and select Remove Team, then open the remaining team, choose Add Partner, and search for the other player(s).

Why would I remove a team before adding partners?

When players were registered as separate teams, removing one duplicate clears the way to attach the remaining members to a single team record with Add Partner.

What should I do if a team member does not appear in search?

Refresh the page, click Add Team, search for and select all members who should be on the team, then save the team.
