Who sends them
Fluid PB, Inc. (“FluidPB”) runs booking, membership and tournament software for pickleball clubs and event organizers. Texts about a club come from that club, sent through Fluid; texts about a tournament come from Fluid. We only text people who have agreed to it.
How people opt in
Where someone enters their own mobile number, they see optional boxes beside it. The boxes start unticked, club news has its own box, and leaving them unticked never stops anyone from creating an account, booking, registering or paying.

The wording beside the boxes reads:
Optional: you can continue without it. By ticking it you agree to get automated texts from [the club or Fluid] at this number. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
People can change either choice at any time in their account. On a club’s site, Profile & Preferences has a Booking & Match Texts switch and a Text Messages switch for that club’s news; on a tournament account, Notifications has the Booking & Match Texts switch.
What people receive
- Booking and match texts (first box): booking confirmations, waitlist spots that opened up, schedule changes and cancellations, payment notices, court assignments and match scores.
- Club news and offers (second box): announcements, events, programs and offers from that one club.
How often, what it costs, and how to stop
- Message frequency varies with your bookings, your events and the club’s announcements.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that number, START to resume, or HELP for help. You can also email help@fluidpb.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
