Selling Products in Fluid PBPoint of Sale, inventory, and front desk checkout

In this guide: Access the POS, add products to cart, process sales, manage products and categories, register payment terminals, and track inventory from your club dashboard.

The Point of Sale (POS) system inside Fluid PB allows clubs to quickly sell merchandise, drinks, food, and other products directly from the Front Desk. Staff can add products, manage inventory, process transactions, and track sales all from one place.

Accessing the POS

  1. Log into your club dashboard.
  2. Select your club.
  3. Navigate to Point of Sale → Store.

From here you can:

  • View products
  • Add products to a cart
  • Process customer purchases
  • Manage products and categories
  • Register terminals

POS layout overview

Product grid

The main section displays all available products.

Each product card shows:

  • Product image
  • Product name
  • Product price
  • Quantity controls

Example: Coke — $3

Shopping cart

The Shopping Cart panel appears on the right side of the screen.

The cart will:

  • Display added products
  • Show quantities
  • Calculate totals automatically
  • Prepare items for checkout

If no items are added, the cart will display:

Your cart is empty

Adding products to the cart

Add a product

To add a product:

  1. Locate the product in the grid.
  2. Click the + button on the product card.
  3. The item will appear in the Shopping Cart.

Adjust quantity

To increase or decrease quantity:

  • Use the + button to increase quantity
  • Use the button to decrease quantity

The cart updates automatically.

Processing a sale

Once all items are added:

  1. Review the Shopping Cart.
  2. Confirm quantities and totals.
  3. Proceed to checkout.
  4. Select the payment method.
  5. Complete the transaction.

After payment is successful:

  • The sale is recorded
  • Inventory updates automatically (if inventory tracking is enabled)
  • Revenue appears in reporting and analytics

Adding new products

Admins can create new merchandise or concession items.

Create a product

  1. Click Add Product.
  2. Enter the product details:
    • Product name
    • Price
    • Category
    • Product image
    • Inventory quantity (optional)
  3. Save the product.

The product will immediately appear in the POS grid.

Product categories

Products can be organized using categories.

Examples:

  • Drinks
  • Merchandise
  • Food
  • Equipment
  • Accessories

Filter by category

Use the Filter by Category dropdown to quickly view specific product groups.

Managing products

Click the Manage button to:

  • Edit products
  • Update pricing
  • Change product images
  • Adjust inventory
  • Archive inactive products

Registering a terminal

To connect a payment terminal:

  1. Click Register Terminal.
  2. Follow the on-screen setup instructions.
  3. Pair the payment device.
  4. Test a transaction.

Once connected, staff can process card payments directly through the POS.

Grid vs list view

The POS supports multiple viewing layouts.

Grid view

Best for:

  • Touch screens
  • Quick checkout
  • Visual product browsing

List view

Best for:

  • Large inventories
  • Faster scanning
  • Detailed product management

Use the view toggle buttons near the top of the screen to switch between layouts.

Inventory tracking

Inventory tracking helps clubs monitor stock levels.

When enabled:

  • Inventory decreases automatically after each sale
  • Staff can monitor low stock items
  • Reports remain accurate

Troubleshooting

Product not appearing

  • Verify the product is active
  • Confirm the product category filter is not hiding the item
  • Refresh the page

Terminal not connecting

  • Confirm the device is powered on
  • Re-register the terminal
  • Verify internet connectivity

Inventory incorrect

  • Check recent transactions
  • Review manual inventory adjustments
  • Verify product inventory settings
