Writing Messages to Players and MembersEmail and text campaigns from your club dashboard

Fluid makes it easy to send emails and text messages to your players, members, and customers directly from your club dashboard.

Use Communication tools to:

  • Send announcements
  • Promote events and leagues
  • Share updates with members
  • Send marketing emails
  • Deliver coupons and promotions
  • Communicate with segmented audiences

Opening the Communication Center

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Manage Clubs
  2. Select your club
  3. Click Communication

Inside the Communication Center, you can:

  • View previous campaigns
  • Create new email or text messages
  • Build audience segments
  • Preview messages before sending

Creating a New Message

  1. Click the Compose button
  2. Choose either:
    • Email
    • Text

Email is best for:

  • Announcements
  • Newsletters
  • Promotions
  • Event updates

Text messages are best for:

  • Quick reminders
  • Last-minute updates
  • Urgent communication

Choosing Your Audience

Before sending a message, select who should receive it.

Use Audience and + Segment to target specific groups of players or members.

Examples:

  • Active members
  • League players
  • Tournament participants
  • New customers
  • Specific membership plans

Fluid will display an estimated recipient count before sending.

Writing Your Subject Line

Your subject line is the first thing recipients see in their inbox.

Best practices:

  • Keep it short and clear
  • Aim for under 40 characters for mobile devices
  • Make the purpose obvious

Examples:

  • Summer League Registration
  • Open Play Tonight
  • New Member Promotion
  • Tournament Reminder

Writing Your Message

Use the editor to create your message content.

Formatting tools include:

  • Headings
  • Bold and italic text
  • Bullet points
  • Links
  • Quotes
  • Buttons
  • Banners
  • Coupons

You can also upload images to make your emails more engaging.

Adding Coupons and Promotions

Use the Coupon button to insert promotional offers directly into your message.

Great for:

  • Membership discounts
  • Event promotions
  • Merchandise offers
  • Referral campaigns

Previewing Your Message

As you type, Fluid automatically updates the live preview.

You can preview your message in:

  • Desktop view
  • Mobile view

This helps ensure your message looks great on all devices before sending.

Sending Your Message

Once your message is ready:

  1. Review your audience count
  2. Double-check your subject and content
  3. Click Send

Fluid will deliver your message to the selected recipients.

Communication Tips

  • Keep messages short and easy to scan
  • Use clear calls-to-action
  • Include links when promoting registrations
  • Avoid sending too many messages too frequently
  • Preview every message before sending
