Courts are used for reservations, scheduling, and events in Fluid.
Before creating events or allowing reservations, add the courts your club uses.
Start simple — you can always update courts later.
What you'll do
In this guide, you'll:
- Add courts
- Name your courts
- Configure court availability
- Set reservation pricing
Before you begin
You should already have:
- Your club profile set up
- A list of courts or playable spaces at your facility
- Reservation pricing (optional)
Step 1: Open court settings
From your club, open Booking Information.
Scroll to Court Configuration.
Select Add New Court.
Step 2: Add a court name
Under Label, enter a clear court name.
Examples:
- Court 1
- Court 2
- Pickleball Court 1
- Padel Court 1
- Turf Field
Use names players and staff will immediately recognize.
Keep naming simple and consistent.
Step 3: Select availability
Choose who can access the court.
Options include:
- Public — visible for player reservations
- Admin Only — staff-managed only
- Both — available to admins and players
Most clubs should start with Both.
Step 4: Configure reservation pricing (optional)
You can set:
Non-Peak Reservation Fee
Standard reservation pricing.
Peak Reservation Fee
Reservation pricing during peak hours.
If you are not charging for reservations yet, leave these as 0.00 and update later.
Step 5: Add every court your club uses
Repeat this process for each court or reservable space.
Examples:
- Pickleball courts
- Padel courts
- Soccer turf
- Volleyball courts
- Training spaces
Adding courts before creating events helps scheduling and reservations work correctly.
Recommended setup
To get started quickly:
- Add every court your club uses
- Use simple, recognizable names
- Set availability to Both
- Add pricing later if needed
You can always adjust court settings as your club grows.
